Screenwriting/dramatisations:
Louise Doughty’s first original drama for television, the three-part thriller Crossfire, about a gun attack on a holiday resort, was made by Dancing Ledge Productions for BBC One. It stars Keeley Hawes and was broadcast on 20th, 21st and 22nd September 2022, reaching consolidated viewing figures of over 7 million and selling in multiple territories worldwide. She is also an Executive Producer on the series.
She was an Associate Producer on the television production of Apple Tree Yard adapted by Amanda Coe and made by Kudos for BBC One.
She was an Executive Producer on the television adaptation of Platform Seven, adapted by Paula Milne for Dancing Ledge Productions and broadcast on ITVX on 7th December 2023.
An adaptation of A Bird in Winter is currently in development and she is also an Executive Producer on that series.
Her third novel, Honey-Dew, is under option with Chapter One pictures and she is working on a series outline.
