Louise Doughty is a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Review programme, presented by Tom Sutcliffe, where she reviews books, plays, films, art exhibitions, music and television. She is often asked to review or comment on literary matters and current affairs for programmes such as Today on BBC R4, Nightwaves on BBC Radio 3 and Newsnight on BBC2.
Doughty began broadcasting in 1994 when she was asked to do a paperback round-up for Radio 4’s Bookshelf. Since then, she has been a frequent guest on Front Row, Open Book and Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio 4 and on quiz shows such as Quote Unquote, The Write Stuff and Whispers.
